DJI Power 500

Multiple Recharging Options

The DJI Power 500 can be recharged in four ways: mains power, USB-C, solar power, and car power. Whether indoors or on the go, you can flexibly choose the recharging method that suits you.

DJI Power 500

Mains Power

Connecting, recharging, and going is quick and easy. When plugged into a power outlet, the DJI Power 500 supports 540W fast charging and 270W standard charging, with the fastest charging time being 70 minutes for 100% battery. It can also charge to 80% in just 50 minutes.[1]

USB-C Charging

The DJI Power 500 can be recharged via two 100W USB-C ports, [7] for a total input power of 200W, and can be fully charged in approximately three hours.[1]

DJI Power 500
DJI Power 500

Solar energy

The DJI Power 500 can be connected to solar panels via the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) or the DJI Power Car plug in SDC power cable, [8] and recharged with friendly to ambient sunlight. MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is an intelligent algorithm that supports real-time monitoring of the voltage produced by connected solar panels. By monitoring and maintaining the highest voltage and current (V-I) values, the algorithm allows the solar panels to recharge the DJI Power 500 in an optimized and efficient way.

* DJI certified Zignes brand solar panels are recommended. The DJI Power 500 supports a maximum solar power of 300W and can be fully recharged by solar power in about 1.8 to 4 hours.[9]

Car charging

Easily charge devices on any road trip. With the DJI Power Car Outlet to SDC Power (12V/24V) power cable, you can recharge the DJI Power 500 via a car charger for a fully recharged unit in just six hours.[1]

DJI Power 500

Complete safety, ultra-quiet operation

Safe inside and out

Safety comes first at all times. From its body structure and cell chemistry to its system software, the DJI Power 500 features a comprehensive safety design. It has passed 26 product test certifications from the Swiss third-party testing authority SGS, ensuring the smooth use of electricity.

SGS Switzerland Authority Certification

Due to its comprehensive safety design, DJI Power 500 has obtained the high-quality portable power plant certification from SGS Switzerland and received 26 product test certifications, including 2 product test verifications, 4 mechanical performance tests, 9 electrical performance tests, 3 environmental resistance tests, 5 noise level tests and 3 smart and efficient DC power supply and recharge tests.

DJI Power 500

Smart Battery Management System (BMS)

When the safety limit of electricity usage is exceeded, the protection mechanism for power supply and recharging will be activated automatically. And once the power supply returns to normal, the DJI Power 500 will continue to operate.

LFP cells

The LFP cell is safe and durable and can achieve 4000 cycles, [4] providing a lifespan of about 10 years, even with frequent use.[10]

DJI Power 500

Safe and reliable energy use

DJI Power 500

The device's 11 temperature sensors continuously monitor heat dissipation, and the power unit can operate normally even at temperatures up to 40C.[11]

Power failure protection

DJI Power 500

Ten fuses located throughout the power station provide circuit protection for each unit. Even if there is an abnormality in the circuit, the DJI Power 500 will respond quickly and safely.

UPS mode, uninterrupted power continuity

If an electrical device is connected to a powered DJI Power 500 (via AC output port) and are both mains powered, the DJI Power 500 defaults to UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) mode. In the event of a sudden power outage, the DJI Power 500 can start powering the connected device (or devices) within 0.02 seconds,[11] ensuring continuous operation.

Extremely quiet operation

DJI Power 500's noise level is as low as 25dB [12] when recharging, lower than most household refrigerators, so there is no noise disturbance even in quiet environments.

Ports for multiple scenarios

Extended ports, expanded applications

DJI Power 500

Dual USB-C bidirectional ports (100W Max)

Dual bi-directional USB-C 100W ports support both power input and output, [7] and support PD 3.0 fast charging protocol, enabling efficient output and input. Both ports can simultaneously recharge the DJI Power 500 with a maximum power of 200W or separately power devices such as cameras, phones and laptops up to 100W.

DJI Power 500

Extended accessories

The DJI Power 500 features dual bi-directional USB-C ports, dual AC output ports, dual USB-A ports, and one SDC Lite port. It is very flexible to make power usage more convenient in various scenarios. It can be connected to different types of solar panels, power cables and adapter cables, meeting the needs of a variety of power options and recharge.
