A dual-camera drone designed for travel photography, the DJI Air 3S incorporates a number of advanced technologies. Equipped with a 1" CMOS main camera and a 70mm mid-telephoto camera, each with up to 14 stops of dynamic range[1], the Air 3S captures landscapes, portraits and more in stunning detail. Both cameras support the new Free Panorama mode, which allows flexible selection of the shooting field.Additional new features include night landscape recognition for obstacles[2] and next-generation Smart RTH for increased safety during night photography. Dual camera, unparalleled images
DJI Air 3S features a dual camera system consisting of a 1" CMOS main camera and a 1/1.3" CMOS telephoto camera. The main camera features a larger CMOS sensor and a 24mm lens, making it ideal for capturing expansive landscapes with enhanced sharpness and a wide field of view. The 70mm mid-telephoto camera excels in portrait and vehicle shots, offering a compressed depth of field to accentuate any subject with a bolder, more cinematic look.

CMOS 1 main camera: Exciting detail for travel photography
The main camera of the DJI Air 3S incorporates a 1" 50MP CMOS sensor, which supports 4K/60fps video recording and 4K/120fps video recording[6] as well as 10-bit D-Log M mode This large sensor, enhanced by advanced image processing technology and intelligent algorithms, preserves even small details in low-light conditions such as sunsets and nightscapes, offering simply and effortlessly breathtaking shots.

4K/60fps HDR video
The latest HDR video mode offers up to 14 stops of dynamic range,[1] capturing cinematic footage of high-contrast scenes, such as detailed views of cloud textures and other elements at sunrise and sunset .
4K/120fps video[6]
Improved resolution and frame rates add a vivid perspective to cultural or sporting events and open up exciting creative possibilities in post-processing.
D-Log M & HLG 10 bit video
Even in normal color mode, the Air 3S can record 10-bit video using H.265 encoding, providing refined color rendering and greater flexibility in publishing, with maximum ISO rising to 12,800. In D-Log M and HLG color modes, the maximum ISO is increased to 3,200, allowing for greater brightness and more detail in urban night scenes.
Medium telephoto camera: Unforgettable portraits
The middle telephoto camera with its 1/1.3" 48MP CMOS sensor supports the same video specifications and color modes as the main camera. This ensures optically consistent footage for optimized post-processing. The 70mm lens offers optical 3x zoom, allowing you to capture unique shots from a distance while accentuating your subject.And when you use the Air 3S to hover around a subject and record 4K video, you can easily capture detailed and expressive close-up portraits.
Focus on details, maximize focal power
4K/60fps HDR video
When capturing close-ups of vehicles at sunset, the medium telephoto camera offers up to 14 stops of dynamic range[1] to capture the rich, vibrant colors of the setting sun.
4K/120fps HDR video[6]
While shooting 4K/120 fps slow motion video while skiing, the middle telecamera can capture high-resolution videos that are slowed down to show off the skier's skills and even the most subtle movements.
D-Log M & HLG 10 bit video
The Air 3S's mid-telephoto camera also supports 10-bit video recording in normal color mode, using H.265 encoding, offering refined color rendering and greater publishing flexibility. With D-Log M 10-bit enabled, the camera captures richer color details and beautifully renders the vibrant city lights as night falls.
Free Panorama
Both the DJI Air 3S's main camera and mid-telephoto camera offer Free Panorama mode, allowing you to create seamless panoramic shots by stitching together multiple images of a manually selected subject or area. The wide-angle camera offers a wider FOV, enhancing efficiency when taking panoramic photos. The medium telephoto camera significantly reduces image distortion, turning your masterpieces into extended shots with a wide perspective from multiple photos and rich details captured through the advantages of focal length.

Omnidirectional obstacle detection system
DJI Air 3S supports Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS). In addition, as DJI's first drone to feature forward-facing LiDAR, the Air 3S also features down-infrared time-of-flight (ToF) sensors and six vision sensors (two each front, back and bottom) to achieve omnidirectional detection obstacles.[2] This function allows the drone to automatically detect and avoid obstacles such as buildings during the flight and return route, ensuring strong safety for night photography.

RTH without GPS
Supporting real-time vision positioning and mapping technologies, DJI Air 3S memorizes flight paths when sufficient lighting is available. This ensures a safe return even when taking off from locations without satellite signals, such as balconies.[7]
Night RTH
With its forward-facing LiDAR, the DJI Air 3S can detect obstacles such as high-rise buildings and navigate upwards around them,[7] even in low-light conditions, ensuring safer returns at night.

You can now send files from your Air 3S to a smartphone even when the drone is powered off.[9] Transfers to a computer can also be done with the drone powered off - just connect Air 3S via compatible USB cable.
