DJI RS 3 Mini
Move Light
The first Mini version in the RS series, the DJI RS 3 Mini is a small, lightweight handheld stabilizer with a strong payload capacity. It supports mainstream mirrorless and lens camera models and inherits the excellent stabilization performance of the RS 3 series. Unleash your recording potential with the DJI RS 3 Mini and effortlessly achieve professional results.
Light and reliable
An innovation in a compact body
The RS 3 Mini adopts an innovative redesign that includes a smaller build, built-in battery and vertical shooting capability. The compact and portable body can easily fit into a shoulder bag, allowing you to travel light. When in use, the RS 3 Mini is about half the size of the RS 3 Pro, making it more convenient for long-term use.
Extremely light, easy to control
The RS 3 Mini weighs only 795g in Portrait mode, approximately 50% lighter than the RS 3 Pro and 40% lighter than the RS 3.[1] Weighs only 850g when shooting with the horizontal plate. In addition, a concentrated center of balance provides a more stable and ergonomic experience in the hand.
Effortlessly possible
The RS 3 Mini has a payload capacity of up to 2kg, making it best in class for its weight,* allowing it to handle larger setups like a Sony A7S3 + 24-70mm F2.8 GM lens with ease. It supports major APS-C mirrorless camera and lens models, allowing for a wide range of camera and lens combinations.[2] The high-torque motors allow the RS 3 Mini to maintain stable shooting at maximum focal length on most lenses without the need for rebalancing.

Professional stabilization
With the same excellent 3rd generation RS stabilization algorithm as the RS 3 Pro, the RS 3 Mini can achieve professional quality image stabilization. Whether you're running, taking a low-angle shot, or shooting in lens mode, your shots stay steady.
Various camera movements
The unique size and features of the RS 3 Mini provide ample opportunity to achieve impressive camera movements and techniques. It also reduces the need to retake due to camera shake, allowing you to capture every moment and create with more confidence.
Subject Circling
Shooting around human subjects? Leave it to the RS 3 Mini to achieve effortless smooth camera movements.
Subject Tracking
Compared to shooting in a fixed position with a camera, the RS 3 Mini can track people steadily and switch between high and low angles for a more varied shooting range.
3D Roll 360
Dynamic 360 rotation display offers strong visual impact and impressive shots.
Flexible and comprehensive
New double layer quick release plate
An upgraded dual-layer quick release plate features a top plate with a curved mounting frame that prevents the camera from rotating and loosening. With clear positioning and locking marks, boot and storage performance is further improved. The stabilizer is also ARCA compliant, allowing you to switch between tripods.
Vertical download capability
The RS series has made a breakthrough in vertical shooting in the RS 3 Mini. Go vertical instantly without additional accessories. Simply attach the standard quick-release plate to the vertical arm and create social media-ready content.
Compared to portrait modes on other gimbals, the rotation angle of the RS 3 Mini's gimbal in vertical shooting mode is greatly expanded. It even offers the same control experience as landscape mode. It is also easy to shoot the videotape in Upright, Tilt Down, Lens and other modes of operation. The device allows you to shoot comfortably in Upright, Underslung, Flashlight and other modes.
NATO expansion port
The RS 3 Mini is equipped with a NATO port to support the installation of accessories such as briefcase handles, external lights and displays, allowing for more configurations and greater flexibility.
Intuitive mode
Shutter control via Bluetooth
The RS 3 Mini comes with the same Bluetooth shutter control that debuted on the RS 3 Pro. This feature supports major mirrorless camera models and allows the RS 3 Mini to automatically reconnect to a camera after the initial coupling.[2]
After pairing via Bluetooth, you can directly control your camera's video recording and photo shooting functions via the record button on the gimbal. When using a Sony camera with a supported digital lens, you can directly control the optical or digital zoom of the lens via the front dial, eliminating the need for a camera control cable.[2]
Stabilizer Mode Toggle Button
Press the M button to switch between PF (Pan Follow), PTF (Pan and Tilt Follow) and FPV mode. Photographers can also adjust the tracking speed and other parameters of the RS 3 Mini on the touchscreen, facilitating a smoother and more intuitive shooting experience.
Full color touch screen 1.4"
The RS 3 Mini features a 1.4-inch color touchscreen with a new UI. Customize most features without the app and access common settings quickly and intuitively.
Focus with front dial
Like the rest of the DJI RS series, the RS 3 Mini features an ergonomic front dial that rotates to adjust focus, ISO, aperture, shutter and other parameters.[3] Control the gimbal's three-axis movement with the front dial for a more efficient solo shooting experience.
Continuous download up to 10 hours
The built-in battery grip supports up to 10 hours of use, providing enough power to fully cover your shooting needs throughout the day.[4] Recharge the RS 3 Mini in just 2.5 hours for a quick return to filming. You can still use your device while charging.[5]

The Ronin app is packed with smart and inspiring features.
Timelapse
Add a timelapse to any video for an amazing effect.
Track
Set the gimbal to follow the path of 10 preset points to create dynamic video of any scene or environment.

DJI Mic for professional recording
Use the RS 3 Mini with the DJI Mic for effortless sound quality to match your level of vlogging.[6] The built-in storage design makes the DJI Mic ready to use right out of the case. The compact microphone can transmit up to 250 meters and lasts up to 15 hours on its charging case. The transmitters are light, portable and equipped with magnetic accessories to make them discreet and confidently handle a wide range of audio recording scenarios.
- Notes:
- DJI RS 3 Mini weighs 795g in portrait mode, which is about 47% lighter than RS 3 Pro and 38% lighter than RS 3. The product weighs 850g when shooting with the horizontal arm. Both weights include the quick release plate and exclude the extendable handle/tripod.
