DJI Dock 2
Easy operation, superior results
The more capable yet noticeably smaller DJI Dock 2 deploys Matrice 3D or 3TD drones with ease and safety. Dock 2 is lightweight, offers high-end functionality and has intelligent cloud-based functions that bring efficiency and quality to automatic operations.
Easy start, ready to go
Light design
The DJI Dock 2 is 75% smaller and 68% lighter than its predecessor and is easily transported with just two people, which makes for flexible installation and lowers installation costs.
Effective Site Evaluation
Before deployment, the aircraft can scan the surrounding environment using vision sensors and quickly determine if the area has strong GNSS signals.[4] This new vision-based assessment speeds up site selection significantly, reducing the time required from five hours to twelve minutes or less.[5]
Durable, Reliable, Recharged
Waterproof and dustproof IP55
DJI Dock 2 is designed with protection in mind. With an IP55 dust and water resistance rating,[1] the Dock 2 can works stably for extended periods even in harsh climates and environments.
Integrated environmental monitoring system
DJI Dock 2 integrates multiple sensors, such as rainfall, wind speed and temperature gauges, to sense weather changes in real time. Combined with online weather forecast, it can provide early warnings or terminate flight operations using DJI FlightHub 2 to effectively reduce flight risk.
With next-generation image recognition technology, the aircraft accurately recognizes the position markers on the landing field. In addition, the new landing pad skid ramp centering design further facilitates precise landing.
Improved landing stability
With next-generation image recognition technology, the aircraft accurately recognizes position markers on the landing field. In addition, the new landing pad skid ramp centering design further facilitates precise landing.
Built-in backup battery
In the event of an unexpected power outage, the DJI Dock 2 can continue to operate independently for more than five hours[6] with its built-in backup battery, leaving enough time for the aircraft to return and land.
Six-month maintenance interval
With its high level of protection and reliability, the DJI Dock 2 only requires maintenance approximately every six months,[7] effectively controlling the human resource costs.
Abnormal Condition Alerts
If DJI Dock 2 and the aircraft experience task failures or emergencies, DJI FlightHub 2 will immediately send email notifications. This allows operators to accurately identify and address problems based on the information provided.
High Performance Aircraft Models
The all-new DJI Matrice 3D/3TD is specially designed for the DJI Dock 2. The Matrice 3D is equipped with both a telephoto camera and a wide-angle camera with a mechanical shutter, meeting the needs for high-precision 1:500 mapping work. Equipped with a wide-angle camera, a telephoto camera and an infrared camera, the Matrice 3TD can image both visible light and thermal images, making it suitable for security and inspection operations.

Quick Takeoff
DJI Dock 2 incorporates dual RTK antennas, allowing the aircraft to acquire accurate RTH position information without waiting for RTK data to converge. It also completes a full propeller inspection and takeoff in just 45 seconds, quickly getting up and running.[11]
Fast charging
The DJI Dock 2 charges the aircraft from 20% to 90% in just 32 minutes[12] for efficient power for consecutive operations.
Dual camera tracking
DJI Dock 2 features an internal and an external fisheye camera for real-time viewing. Close monitoring inside and outside the dock allows the operator to remotely observe weather conditions, environmental conditions, and aircraft takeoff and landing.
Cloud-based operation, maximum control
Cloud Mapping
After the aircraft completes its flight, DJI FlightHub 2 creates highly accurate 3D models based on the collected flight data, authentically recreating the operating environment. These models can be annotated, measured and downloaded.
Flight Route Editor
Using highly accurate 3D models, operators can perform visual flight path processing from a first-person perspective and preview imaging simulation results. This facilitates intuitive and efficient operations and enhances flight path planning and accuracy.
AI Spot-Check
Frame a specific area in the 3D model and the aircraft will automatically compare the area it records with the boxed area in subsequent automated operations. This actively adjusts the camera angle to ensure accurate capture of the same area over multiple flights.
FlyTo Tasks
DJI FlightHub 2's FlyTo tasks use high-precision 3D models to automatically plot the optimal flight path. Before an urgent task, the operator only needs to click on the subject and the aircraft will fly to the destination through an efficient and safe route.
Live flight controls
Based on DJI FlightHub 2 or a third-party cloud platform, even if DJI Dock 2 is deployed in a remote area, the operator can control the flight angle and gimbal via keyboard and mouse.
Overcoming obstacles
When performing automatic flight tasks, the aircraft uses omnidirectional obstacle detection and automatic obstacle avoidance functions to improve the success rate of flight tasks.
Open Ecosystem, Extensive Features
Third Party Payloads
Add even more functionality, connect to third-party payloads[3] such as speakers and projectors via the aircraft's E-Port, and remotely control the additional payload via DJI FlightHub 2.< su[13] Additionally, the aircraft's E-Port Lite supports parachute tethering[3] for increased flight and personnel safety.
Edge calculation
DJI Dock 2 has a state-of-the-art PC extension interface that allows pre-processing of media files and more to further enhance operational performance.
Private development with Cloud API
Customize a custom management system for DJI Dock 2 with Cloud API or quickly connect it to a third-party cloud platform, facilitating efficient and convenient private development.
Cloud-to-Cloud Coordination
Through DJI FlightHub 2's FlightHub Sync function, users can easily connect it to a third-party cloud platform for flexible operation data management.
DJI TerraAPI
With DJI TerraAPI, users can now integrate the powerful mapping capabilities of DJI Terra into their own dock management systems. This enables automated 2D/3D reconstruction and custom photo mapping workflows, allowing DJI Dock 2's performance outputs to better meet the needs of a wide variety of industrial applications.
