DJI Focus Pro LiDAR
Overview The LiDAR boasts 76800 range points, a 77% jump in quantity, improving human subject edge detection while effectively reducing focus tracking. The maximum focus distance is 20 meters and the human-subject focus distance is about three times that of the previous generation, with easy long-distance focus handling with telephoto lenses. The 70 FOV is beneficial for edge compositions and close-up shots, providing a larger framing space. The 30Hz LiDAR refresh rate allows for faster subject information acquisition, ensuring more confident focus on moving subjects. When combined with the DJI Pro Focus Motor, LiDAR can enable autofocus for calibrated manual lenses.
Tips When the gimbal display is in 1x mode, the LiDAR ToF sensor operates within a detection range of 10 meters by default. To expand to a focus distance of 20 meters, you can tap the + icon on the screen to activate the 2x magnification display.
