The Mavic 2 Zoom drone has a lot to offer: excellent long battery life, 1/2.3" sensor and wide operating range. What makes it so desirable is the unique zoom camera.

Zoom

Now you can take photos more discreetly from afar. However, you can also compress any scene with longer focal lengths, synchronizing the foreground and background at the same time. This opens up many possibilities for your compositions and provides dynamic perspectives.

Quick tip

When shooting frames with a dynamic background, try flying in Tripod mode. This will help you not fly quickly into the background, so it won't distract the viewer.

Back Parallax

Telephoto shooting on the fly will help incorporate more background movement into your shots. This will not only look stylish, but also isolate the object within the scene. Make sure the camera is locked on the object so you don't get a blurry image.

Polarizing filter

When shooting on a bright, sunny day, a polarizing filter is essential. Not only will it reduce glare, but it also allows for more color and contrast. Before flying, adjust the filter for optimal results.

Low light

Low light environments can give you a lot of variety as you shoot footage. Try to let more light through the lens while keeping the ISO as low as possible. Make sure you don't have an ND filter installed before take off.
